Additionally, Peter Hegseth, the defense secretary, Susie Wiles, the White House chief of staff, Scott Bessent, the Treasury secretary, and Keith Kellogg, Trump’s envoy to Ukraine, were all present during the negotiations.
The talks in Riyadh were seen as a promising step towards resolving the conflict in Ukraine, with both sides expressing commitment to finding a peaceful solution.
