Our day begins with a stunning backdrop from our balcony as we share our plans for the day. First up is the iconic Briksdal Glacier hike. After collecting our tickets conveniently located opposite the ship, we board a bus to the glacier, surrounded by majestic scenery that’s simply awe-inspiring.
Once we arrive, we explore a charming souvenir shop before starting our hike to the glacier. Along the way, I offer insights into the hike’s difficulty—ideal for adventurers of all levels, with a troll car option for those needing assistance. The sheer magnificence of the glacier and the surrounding landscape make the trek worth every step.
After our exhilarating hike, we return to the ship for a hearty lunch before heading out for our next adventure: the exhilarating Loen Skylift. Just a short bus ride away, we ascend in the skylift to take in panoramic views of the fjords, capturing breathtaking photos from a bird’s eye perspective.
As our time in Olden comes to a close, we savor a stunning sail-away that showcases Norway’s natural beauty like never before. Back on board, we enjoy a special Frozen-themed dinner, partake in fun trivia games, and wind down at the cinema.
