It’s crazy that I can buy a Tesla for less than my cousin just paid for a used Honda Civic. Times have seriously changed.
Tesla says they’ve simplified the UI, but putting everything on one screen can still be a safety hazard, especially for older drivers.
Do sodium-ion cells require different cooling systems?
Will a stripped-down Model 2 hurt Tesla’s brand image?
I drive 60 miles a day to work and back — gas prices are killing me. If Model 2 really does 350 miles per charge, I’ll never visit a gas station again.
How will the smaller screen, speakers, and seats affect customer satisfaction?
Will Model 2 owners still get free Supercharging trials?
Could faster charging from sodium-ion reduce Supercharger congestion?
While everyone’s cheering the casting machine, I wonder about crash repairs. Replacing an entire casted structure might be insanely expensive.
This all sounds too good to be true!
Where is that model 2 you are talking about every day? Nothing. Just speculation. Bring Chinese to American (CAD and USA) so we can choose.
Why not do air powered cars like formula 1s are
sodium ion battery tech is still in development. There have not been any announcements officially (that I am aware of) that they have overcome the stumbling blocks to bring this to fruition. Waiting on that announcement.
