You are getting boring, so sad you are one of the first ones
I think it’s cool to see the various places you walk. This one is interesting. I doubt I’ll ever go there, so I appreciate it.
I don't know if you see there's somebody that is registered under your name in New York and a lot of people is watching him. Find out who has the right to call himself Action kid. They can register under another name by not your name. Find out and make a video about it when you get the answer. Be wise and take care..
JUST GO BACK TO NYC MAN! It's the bread and butter of your channel, not gonna lie!
People love to watch you there.. especially now, NYC is magical during the Christmas season!
2 days later, and The Great YouTube Algorithm points me back to this video. I watch it, and resubscribe to make a comment. I don't remember when I first saw your videos, but you were still in New York, giving us some great narrative walking tours of The Big Apple. Then you went to Miami, and you continued with the same. It was around 2019-2020 that you flew to Taipei, Taiwan, for another fantastic travel trip. Somewhere along the line, my interests changed, and I was watching fewer of your videos. I got wrapped up in the 2020 US Presidential campaign and many content creators and their political views. I have many interests. And thanks to you, I started making videos, all natural sound and no narrative from me.
Hi Kenneth, I was wondering where your content was, lately. Thank you very much for your previous contributions, which were very relaxing and interesting. But as the old Romans used to say: "Tempora mutantur, et nos mutamur in illis" – times are changing and so are we. You cannot fight Google algorithms. You were a forerunner at the given time. Becoming a mediocre AI CC is certainly not your thing. Why not looking for interesting stories: people have so much to tell. Just address them. Keep up the good spirit.
Everything must come to an end. Now a days there are a few very entertaining content creators from NYC…Ppl want to see nyc…
Youtube algorithm showed me this video, i like your work, long tine without see you.
Your most engaging content is definitely your NYC material. You haven't done a collaboration with Jon Barr in awhile. You two made a good team. If the two of you came to see Niagara Falls, I would personally introduce you to Buffalo, NY which is literally 15 minutes away.
I haven't gotten a notification in ages!
the shift is due to a big reason no good enjoyable content at all
I’ m sorry to say that, I stop watching your videos since you left Miami. I just happened to see this title then I decided to comment…
It's basically taken over people sitting in the car and I think it's run its course-
I use to watch you religiously in the past, especially when you broadcast from NYC, Miami, South Florida, Europe etc. but you have stayed in the Far East way too long. No Mas…
Hi. You were one of the first channels I ever watched, when you started. You were in New Youk looking for christmas trees. I watched so mych that I could recognize where you were without you telling me. I watched for a long tone. I felt i had over watched and just wanted a chanfe. I then followed bald and bankrupt. You speak well. Talked about historic interesting things. I watched Penguinsix who does washington DC which is near me. I hope you don’t give up because you’re good at what you do. Just sharing my reasons…..
Your videos are the best. Love your walk and talk from New York. But then you left New York. I want to see the seasons change in New York. And christmas in New York. But since you left I've watched other walking videos from New York. So your videos don't pop up anymore.
Naaah bro, people are only interested in NYC, and especially now since it's more expensive to vist here & tougher travel rules.
NYC is a city that's always changing, and you can go down the same street 9 months later, and it's changed.
That's what the world wants. You clearly don't seem to understand this…🤣
Been a fan since the very beginning my wife and I loved your NYC videos. Your correct we have less time good luck 🍀
Few years ago YouTube stopped recommending your channel to watch. I found it very weird
True fact: the YouTube algorithm has changed, and people are indeed watching different types of content. I've also felt that on my channel (my NYC videos, for instance, got only a few views…). My channel is also experiencing a big drop in views and revenue, but I keep moving on, as you, AK! Thanks so much for this and for all your hard work. Cheers from Lisbon Portugal 🙂
So from what I've gathered in the comments, maybe you should move back to New York? Or not. Totally upto you man. Always loved your content brother. I'm here for ya
I started with you back at the NYC vids. The world has a short attention span these days as there is so much out there to cover. I never make it through long episodes on current news coverage these days. Nothing over 30 mins, preferably less. I think developers will need to learn to adapt and condense coverage. Too many options for same out there. Good to see you, and wishing you continued success. I love those dimples 😉
💪
NYC is what I sub'd for. I'd have it playing in the background as a trip down memory lane, as I moved out during CV. Miami was fun too.
I mean this very constructively but you gained popularity from the genuine on the street New York content. I know COVID changed the vibe of New York for a few years but you kind of went on the deep end and started bashing New York which rubbed me the wrong way. I know safety was a concern for a bit but betting against the city the way you did just felt “off”. It just felt like someone who didn’t stay to make the change they wanted to see. Now it’s as lively as ever and unfortunately there are many content creators that have filled the vacuum you left. Just an honest opinion.
You need to re-establish yourself in NYC. a single video isn't enough. People need to get back into the habit of watching you again.
China is becoming more and more saturated on YouTube. There are too many “China walker” channels now, and they keep popping up in my recommendations. Many of them already have millions of views. There are also a few guys who just show food in China, and every video gets millions of views. But as more people make the same type of content, viewers’ interest naturally starts to drop.
Some guy is doing simple walking videos in Switzerland, and he’s getting millions of views per video. Switzerland still feels like a mysterious country to many people, so the content attracts a lot of curiosity. But China is becoming less and less mysterious because there are already so many exploration and walking videos about it.
Vietnam is ok, but it doesn't get the same appeal as Switzerland, China or New York to Western viewers.
Right now, the next frontier is South America. I haven’t seen many creators covering that region yet.
Loved your nyc walking videos especially during the holidays season . Plz come back to states your videos will go crazy again .
Hello AK, thank you for your transparency and for making this video.
Let me first say that I have been following you since 2019, I've been watching your NYC videos, your move to Miami, and all your other worldwide treks. I will continue to watch your channel no matter where you go. You are right, the YouTube algorithm has changed, and like you said, the "middle-class YouTubers" are feeling the effects. For those saying, "Go back to NY", that will not solve the entire problem. Walking videos as a whole are on the decline. NYC has so many vloggers doing similar content, so the pie can only be shared so far. Yes, the views may go up, but not by a ton. NYC youtubers are feeling the effects as well. I think viewers have a misconception about how much revenue these videos ACTUALLY bring in. I have a YouTube channel as well, and I see the stats of other YouTubers on my VidiQ account, so I know that it takes a lot of filming, editing to make a living from this.
Honestly, your trip to Asia is great. I especially enjoyed your visits to your family's hometown. It was so heartwarming and special. I wholeheartedly disagree with those who say that your move to Asia is a big mistake. Asia is cheaper, safer, and I am hoping to move there soon myself! In addition, I am loving your parents' treks about NYC. I enjoy hearing about NYC from a native New Yorker's point of view.
I am interested in this channel because of the person, Action Kid. So it doesn't matter where you go, I will follow. You post, I watch! Have a great day/night, AK! Looking forward to spending the future with you and your channel! ❤
