I think now I'm comfortable saying this is the worst year for the charts this decade by far and possibly in my lifetime. Literally nothing happening other than Morgan Wallen clogging up the top 5.
Only doja cat can save this list now… or maybe taylor swift… someone tell them to release an album
I love all these songs, but if I’m Billboard right now, they need to make some new rule changes for the Top 10. These songs are great, but they can’t hold on in the top spot for long. Just add Cardi or any rapper from the chart to debut. But yeah, it seems that the recent Billboard charts this summer have been outdated. Hopefully, make a new ruling similar to TRL’s 65-day ruling at the time where an iconic video can’t stay on the chart for long and put the video to rest after an incredible run.
There are many good songs that deserve these ranks but I don't know why this list is still stuck in 2024
Hip hop is dying in 2025. Barely any rap songs in the top 10 this year except for outside by cardi b which unfortunately left last week. We need that new JID album to shake things up in August even though it probably won't😢. Even though im not really a drake fan, i would love to see some songs from his upcoming album knock out some of these old songs
I'll take Pink Pony Club reentering the top 10 over Beautiful Things, any day. On another note, how on earth is a bar song back at 4 🤬Something desperately needs to be done
Good to see Ordinary at 1 again 🎉 but so disappointed of the rest of the chart, tipsy and teddy still in the top 10 ????. We are on july, 2025, I hope that in the next weeks or months we could see changes. ❤
Wow, “Manchild” falling fast but maybe it could rebound because radio is climbing. And it’s great to “Pink Pony Club” back here and unfortunate to see “Lose Control” and “A Bar Song” rising. Good that “Beautiful Things” is not here though.
Interesting
The most boring chart ever! Why are songs from LAST SUMMER still in the top 10? I've been following the billboard charts since the mid 90's and I can honestly say this is the most bored I've been with it.
The songs I’ve had on my rotation the most this week are:
1. Trade Mistakes by Panic! At The Disco
2. Waltzing Back by The Cranberries
3. New Americana by Halsey
4. Warrant by Foster The People
5. Bamboo Banga by M.I.A
6. I Ain’t Got Time by Tyler, The Creator
7. Yippee-Ki-Yay by Kesha
8. Bottom ___ by Doja Cat
9. Jimmy by M.I.A
10. Boyz by M.I.A
I’m pretty sure those would be my songs of the week, and the order.
Lose control, Die with a smile, A bar song, Luther, Pink pony club 🥱🥱🥱😪😪😪 Boring
How on earth did A Bar Song manage to climb that high, after being at the number 7 spot, for like months and months now.

“Wow. That Manchild song is pretty successful right now. But huh… I guess it just seems it’s not as big right now, in this, July 2025… as A Bar Song (Tipsy) and Luther.”
Oh shit, who said that? Must’ve been the wind.
Thank You Cardi Trash B Outside Is Off the Top 10 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
How the hell is "The Giver" back?
This week my #1 song is Benson Boone's "Mr. Electric Blue"
Lots of us have talked about the stubbornness of the Top 10, what about the songs that could enter it? ‘Love Me Not’ jumping 14-11 with solid streaming and radio growth is a promising sign for next week. Maybe ‘Golden’ from K-Pop Demon Hunters could do it soon given its big numbers on Spotify.
A methodology or rule change is desperately needed at this point. ‘A Bar Song’ would be #2 without the Morgan Wallen tracks, while ‘Lose Control’ is somehow the biggest points gainer in the Top 10 on its 98th week in the chart. Seriously, who is still listening to the latter?
We’re now into the second half of 2025 and it still feels like we’re trapped in 2024 looking at this chart. So many older songs lingering around while ‘Manchild’ is falling fast. What an abysmal year for the Top 10.
