18 Visible Signs of Kidney Disease You Shouldn’t Ignore: Synopsis
In the enlightening video “18 Visible Signs of Kidney Disease You Shouldn’t Ignore,” Dr. Eric Berg guides viewers through essential information about kidney health and the early warning signs of kidney damage. Positioned deep within the rib cage, the kidneys play a vital role in filtering blood and maintaining bodily functions. Unfortunately, many people remain unaware of their kidney issues until it’s too late.
The video outlines 18 visual indicators that can reveal potential kidney problems, such as puffy eyes, swollen feet, foamy urine, and dark circles. Dr. Berg emphasizes the importance of recognizing these symptoms early, as kidneys can endure significant damage without obvious signs.
Furthermore, he delves into the various factors damaging kidney health, including ultra-processed foods, low vitamin D levels, and poor sleep. The discussion also highlights dietary adjustments—like increasing magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids—that can promote kidney function.
This comprehensive overview not only raises awareness about kidney health but empowers viewers with actionable steps to prevent and potentially reverse kidney damage before it progresses.

Healthy kidneys are imperative to your overall health. The kidneys are situated deep within the rib cage, and have your adrenal glands on top. Each filtering unit of the kidney, called a nephron, contains a highly concentrated network of capillaries.
There are 1 million nephrons in each kidney! This number often decreases with age, although it typically does not cause many symptoms. Kidneys are very good at compensating, even if they’re 50% damaged.
One of the earliest kidney health warning signs is protein in the urine. At-home urine tests detect the albumin-creatinine ratio, which you want to keep below 30 mg/g.
The stages of chronic kidney disease are associated with specific percentages of nephron loss:
Stage 2: 20% loss
Stage 3: 60% loss
Stage 4: 85% loss
Stage 6: 95% loss
The good news is that if you catch kidney disease in time, it can be reversed.
The following factors often cause kidney disease:
•Ultra-processed foods
•PFAS
•Insulin resistance
•Medications
•Low vitamin D
•Low magnesium
•Low omega-3s
•Poor sleep
Here are 18 early signs of kidney disease:
1. Puffy eyes
2. Swollen feet
3. Swollen hands
4. Sudden weight gain
5. Foamy urine
6. Itchy skin
7. Pale skin
8. Dark circles under the eyes
9. Bruise easily
10. Dark urine
11. Blood in the urine
12. Less urine output
13. Constantly tired
14. Restless legs syndrome
15. Muscle cramps

Watching how the kidneys precisely filter blood, regulate electrolytes, control blood pressure, and remove toxins at a microscopic level perfectly reflects this Qur’anic verse:
“And within yourselves—do you not see?” (Qur’an 51:21)
The human body is a self-contained system of intelligent design, balance, and regulation—clear signs for those who reflect.
Quit drinking alcohol including 🍷. Your kidneys will thank u for it!

I've known 5 different people who died from kidney failure before the age of 50. What did all 5 have in common? Heavy Liquor combined with Marijuana at the same time over a period of about 15 years. Additionally, none of them drank water regularly (dehydrated).
Doctor, could you please make a video on how to strengthen fragile capillaries, the breakage of which causes those unsightly blemishes on the skin? Thank you very much❤h❤❤
I have had a fluctuating GFR and high creatinine for about a year now. I saw my Dr this week and had a blood/urine test and she wants me to see a nephrologist. I do not drink alcohol but I have been on seizure meds for over 20 years. Topamax and Lamictal. If that is destroying my kidneys then I don't know what to do 😢
Thanks I know something is wrong with my kidneys I'm not pre diabetic anymore so I want to sort this out. My grandfather died from kidney issues with diabetes and it was really hard seeing him in the hospital when they would not give him anything to drink… He looked at me his granddaughter begging me for a glass of water… They ended up giving him some ice chips for me ❤he was getting iv but he was really dry… If they gave him too much liquid he would have been gone so they limited liquid in the last days
D with some k but you don't need as much k… When you are eating calcium rich foods right? It all works together with magnesium and other minerals ❤
Does anyone have any experience with the PLA2R anti body causing kidney damage?

How can we fix our kidneys naturally
So I heard good things about oregano tea. I’ll tell you what if I start getting a cold sore and I drink a nice oregano tea with honey little bit of turmeric and some pepper you know freshly ground pepper not a lot put enough, honey in it where it taste good drink it and that cold sore will be going away within hours, sometimes even minutes. Works every time. So whatever weird thing you got going on, oregano will kill it! Love, mother nature.
I think I have most of this stuff, but I think it’s a vitamin deficiency
My questions never get answered on any videos from any channel, maybe if I get in early I can get a good answer, from someone that knows for sure…
I have stage 4 CKD EGFR 27 last January, and it's jumped back and forth from 27 to 45 the past couple years, BUT I HAVE ZREO symptoms, no swelling, no puffy eyes, etc…
So my question is, because I got those numbers from my blood panel and nothing to do with the urine, does the kidney function differently on the blood side from the urine side, and if so does that mean my urine is filtering properly and that's why I'm not seeing all these symptoms, not the blood number side???
I lost one of my kidney 2 yrs ago from cancer. Now I'm around 40% efficiency. I juice with veggies and fruit daily. Slowly feeling better. Cysts and my lady kidney.
Death and taxes are the only reliable truths left in this world.

Gallons? 🙄 This isn't the American international
I have bad kidney values in my bloodtests since a long time. Often the urine is foamy. Now I have taken iodine about a week and I have no foam. Is that a good sign or a bad sign? I don't know how these things would be connected.
So encouraging that my urologist (fairly new, young doctor) had some of this same advice! The only thing she didn't align with this on was vit D3, she told me to stop taking it except 1 5000 capsule a week. I was taking 2-4 per day. Thoughts?
What about topical minoxidol does it damages the kidney as well skincare products like cleansers moisturizers and especially sunscreens if so what can be alternatives!?
