Hey AK. I enjoyed your video on how to choose friends. It was great advice and I appreciate these kind of videos on how to live life. Thanks. 😊
Real Talk ! Much love from a fellow New Yorker
At times we point a finger at others and say, "They have not been a good friend to me," yet our own thumb points straight back at us. We must also ask ourselves, "Have I been a good friend to them?"
The way we treat people can leave a deep-seated hurt, and those past experiences can replay in their minds, affecting how they relate to us today. It does not necessarily mean they cannot be a good friend; sometimes, they are simply still carrying pain from the past.
However, some individuals have enough love in their hearts to move forward from how they were treated and remain a supportive anchor, regardless of whatever has happened in the friendship.
Was that an AI Action Kid at the beginning…?

Hey ActionKid, Nice haircut. You look really well.
Hi Ken, Great advice and we are glad you shared Words of Wisdom
That was a great ninja opening 😂 thanks for sharing the awesome advice about friends. 💯
I totally 💯 agree with you AK I’m a solitary person by nature but also one of the reasons is because I’m very cautious with who I let into my life. I am also very intuitive and I can tell where peoples motives come from .. I have only a few close friends the rest are acquaintances and I keep them at a distance. I am a kind person and I help whenever I can but I guard my privacy and I’m careful who comes into my space. This was a good advice to your audience Thanks AK🙏🏻🙂
I haven't seen you in quite some time, what a surprise to see your friendly face ☺️
Nice to see you walking the streets of Saigon again with these nice vlogs, take care.
100%
100% dang right. Even close family members are sometimes not your friends.
Real friends are hard to get, you get them at school/college/your hobbies… and so on……
Yes a lot to reflect upon with friendships.
After almost 40 years of being neighbor friends, I was shocked & hurt by harsh words & ending of what I thought was a lasting friendship.
I have no ill feelings for this person & wish her the best in life with her husband.
Others have advised me to just “move on”; & certainly I will move on to newer friendships, having learned from this “sudden break up”.
Many older people have experienced this, as well, with long-time friendships.
It happens.
Thank you Actionkid Kid for these beautiful words! And thank you for sharing!
Great discussion. TY! Yes, a person's needs and wants change over time. Things people enjoy doing change. It makes relationships challenging. Great point about feeling obligated to continue what was a great riendship that's no longer working. It can be hard to accept the change. Another good point being on the lookout for people using you in some way. A college roommate told me he looks at people to see what he can get out of them. At the time I found it callous and calculating, but later on I also found it useful in a business setting but personal settings are much more complex and nuanced thereby making any relationship challenging to navigate. Good to regularly check one's relationships to ensure they are working in mutually beneficial ways. PS I'm now watching the TV miniseries Lonesome Dove. It includes a Latin quote that roughly translates to people are shaped, changed, and matured by the company they keep. Interesting I would watch the mini-series again today and ask about that Latin phrase to learn that's what it means so I thought it fitting here to share.
My tactic when I meet new people is act dumb, you'll be surprised how many of them show their true colours…. What? eating? what is eating? Trees? what are trees for? something like that. There's a saying in Vietnamese "Quân tử chi giao đạm nhược thủy, tiểu nhân chi giao cam nhược lễ" from the original Chinese proverb "君子之交淡如水 小人之交甘若醴"…Basically the righteous engaged in friendships like water, clear, bland and pure, the unrighteous engaged in friendships like sweet wine, or ceremonial wine or too much customs.
Thank you for the advice I agree with you AK. when you do next live stream?

Thank you ak for the advice well said
You're right, we have to be careful towards People
Wisdom and sincerety is so important in friendship, somebody you can lean on, in my opinion, trust is one of the main point.
You forgot the word 'Are,' in your thumbnail.
