The carving work is mesmerising to behold! Or, should I say the stone masonry?
Absolutely fascinating, well enjoyed conversation on the lawn and many things I learned. Stepwells are so magical! Hope the turtles enjoyed it too!
Gabe you are amazing ❤❤❤
Gabriel do you consider yourself an introvert? I also prefer travelling alone and not hanging with people often. People call me weird for it but i dont care. Sometimes its nice to hang with other people though.
Amazing how many Westerners always seem to focus on the negative aspect of India. Complety failing to realize it's old, deep culture and it's contribution to humanity. Level of shallowness is incredible. In the comment section. Invaders didn't occupy India because it was a poor country. In fact it's completely the opposite. British Empire, calling India the jewel in its crown was built on the back of India's wealth, natural resources and labour. Those who wish to be ignorant and synical can do so but that does not change history.
Ahinsa/Ahimsa existed in Hinduism long before Jainism and Buddhism came into being. But Ahimsa in Hinduism is not absolute.
That's not South India that's is southern India
The tribe from the Sentinel Islands is not in the Nicobar Islands. The Nicobar Islands are different — they have people with roots in Myanmar, Indonesia, and other Indian tribes, and they are relatively more modernized. You can visit the Nicobar Islands, but it’s not as easy as visiting the Andaman Islands; you need permission from the authorities. However, the people are friendly. The tribes from the Andaman Islands are among the earliest inhabitants of Eurasia, the second oldest in the Indian subcontinent after the Vedda tribe in Sri Lanka. All Indian populations trace about 1 to 5 percent of their ancestry to the Andamanese Onge tribe
Kharai camels
They are a rare breed of camel found in the salt marshes of the Kutch district of Gujarat.
Their name is derived from the local word khara, meaning saline.
It is well adapted to the saline desert environment and is known for its ability to swim (hence also known as ‘swimming camel’).
They swim long distances in the sea to reach their grazing areas, usually more than 3 km at a time, even in deep waters.
Kharai camels mostly feed on mangroves.
They are considered a unique Eco-tonal species as they survive in the dryland ecosystem as well as the coastal ecosystem.
Conservation Status:
IUCN: Endangered

Hi Gabriel, It is so much easier to get published today digitally through Amazon KDP or Google Books, publishing many how-to videos on YouTube.

Walking the cattle on highways and thoroughfares is another example of absence of law in India. Although it is clearly written in the rule book that cattle shouldn't be shepherded or let loose on the streets, Indian milk farmers break the law nonchalantly and frequently cause trouble, sometimes fatally so , to the commuters.I don't know whether it is simply lawlessness or they bribe the local police.
20 years ago I travelled in india for 6 months😂
Just a correction, please. Sravanabelagola has a huge statue of Bahubali, who is different from the 24 Thirtankaras.
Welcome back to Karnataka.
