Exploring NYC’s Hidden Gems: Restaurants With Zero Customers
In the bustling heart of New York City, where vibrant eateries and bustling streets collide, a unique culinary adventure awaits as I delve into restaurants that remain undiscovered—literally! In my latest video, titled “I Tested NYC Restaurants With Zero Customers,” I embark on a quest to explore some of the city’s hidden culinary gems.
From the charming ambiance of Lovely’s Old Fashioned on 9th Ave to the innovative flavors at Cheeseboat, each location has its own unique offerings and untapped potential. I put their menus to the test, tasting everything from artisanal sandwiches to delicious bowls of comfort food.
As I navigate through these quieter corners of NYC, I also stop by Vezzo, known for its delectable pasta, and Bahn Mi TBD, a cozy spot in Flushing specializing in Vietnamese sandwiches. Each restaurant has a story, and the passion and hard work behind their dishes shine through—even if the dining room is empty.
In this video, I not only sample the delicious cuisine but also shed light on the founders and chefs, giving viewers insight into why these establishments are worth a visit. And let’s not forget the bustling Flushing area, where I discovered Chi Mac Zip and New Nurlan, each bringing flavors that deserve recognition.
Join me on this culinary adventure and see why these zero-customer spots deserve your attention. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, take a chance on these hidden treasures—they might just surprise you!

Wow..thuought Lovely's might have some not so lovely health code violations… They had ZERO!! Wow!
Your content is too good for the "I tried" trend
OMG, Cheesboat looks to be fav…. Damn..
Do more these, please. Good show, underdog show.
Im not a rocket surgeon or anything but the spots are probably empty because you're going to lunch spots at 8:30 AM 😂 ..
More content like this….. support good small businesses that need help
Thats a good looking Aloha shirt.
All the kind, considerate non-entitled influencers need to do this
THANK YOU!
Five bucks for two slices of pizza oh my God, yes
I'm in new york
First questions should be "how long have you been here?" and "what is the name of the private equity firm that owns you?" And what were you paid to do the vid?
7:39 Chicken? 7:53 Chicken? Let's go back to 6:50 "Crispy Pork"?? So which was it?? Hahahaha! Nice one. And not shocked that the award went to a pizza place….NYC. We know your preferences! xx
Hey Jon, I'm the owner of the banh mi shop. Thank you again for giving us a try and for the kind words. Come back and try our vempanda (Vietnamese empanada).
7:54 it’s not chicken it’s pork
i love georgian style khachapuri <3
Bouncing all around like a ADHD rabbit.. what’s good with you? 2:52
Those are rice snacks I believe at the Korean place. I live in Korea and most ChiMac places give you them. ChiMac is a combination of Chicken and Makgu (beer). Was the grilled chicken Dakgalbi? It’s spicy marinated chicken. One of my favorites.
Cheeseboat is one of the most popular places in NYC. Reservations months out. What the heck are you even doing?
Vezzo used to be line out the door especially on weekends/eveneings, but since COVID it hurt it plus they have delivery and other associated restaurants like POSTO etc
Croffle house is never empty. You probably went when they just opened.
Out of all of them, Lovely's is the one I'd like to try. Can't go wrong with a really good burger and fries and, if I read the prices correctly, it was under $10.00.
I like this series
These restaurants ain’t going to be zero no more 😂👏👏 thanks for the recommendations
I know you love Manhattan but try to make some BK content. The people need to know about the food!
