My Day in the Biggest Gypsy Slum in Europe – Video

In Plovdiv, Bulgaria, lies a slum that is home to more than 70,000 gypsies, also known as Romani people. Curious to learn more about their way of life, I spent a day exploring Europe’s largest gypsy slum and was pleasantly surprised by what I found.

The vibrant community in the slum welcomed me with open arms, sharing their stories, culture, and traditions. Despite the challenges they face, the residents displayed resilience, strength, and a deep sense of community.

From the colorful houses to the lively music and dances, I was struck by the richness of their culture. It was a humbling experience to witness their daily life and to learn about their struggles and triumphs.

Through my video, I hope to shed light on the realities of life in the gypsy slum and to challenge stereotypes and misconceptions. It was truly an eye-opening experience that left a lasting impression on me.
