Title: Trump’s Media Maneuvering Leaves Iran Deal in Limbo
In a recent analysis, Niall Stanage, White House columnist for The Hill, asserted that Donald Trump has expertly navigated the media landscape while the prospect of a new Iran deal remains elusive. During an interview on Times Radio, Stanage pointed out that Trump has been teasing the idea of a significant diplomatic breakthrough for weeks, yet tangible progress remains conspicuously absent.
Trump’s public statements have promised a “final determination” regarding the Iran deal, inciting speculation and optimism among observers. However, as Stanage emphasized, there is a striking lack of details regarding what such a deal would entail. The absence of a “clear scope” raises questions about the administration’s strategy and its ability to negotiate effectively.
Stanage delineated how Trump’s rhetorical commitments appear more aimed at controlling the media narrative than facilitating genuine diplomatic engagement with Iran. By consistently implying that a resolution is imminent, the former president seems to maintain a narrative that positions him favorably, even as substantive outcomes remain unattainable.
This maneuvering raises significant implications for both U.S. foreign policy and domestic political discourse. With the lack of clarity surrounding the Iran deal, critics argue that Trump may be leveraging the issue to distract from other pressing challenges, ensuring that the media remains fixated on his potential achievements while evading scrutiny of his actual policy outcomes.
As the dialogue surrounding the Iran deal continues, the uncertainty that shrouds these discussions reflects a broader trend in which media narratives and political realities often intertwine. In an era where perception frequently surpasses actuality, the question becomes whether Trump’s media strategy can effectively fill the void left by a lack of concrete diplomatic progress.
As Trump continues to make headlines, one thing is clear: the Iran deal, once a point of urgent concern, now exists in a nebulous state—caught between media hype and political maneuvering, with little indication of a clear path forward.

Putin orders Trump to delay peace deal
Market manipulation, is all. A lifetime of bullying, corruption, self-aggrandizement, grifting.. that’s the Rump’s stock in trade!🤮
If Trump is talking, he's lying.
Ukraine gave up its nukes, the US, UK and Russia signed the Budapest memorandum. Look what happened! Why would any country give up owning nukes now???
Trump is a failure 😢
Has trump played the media or has media just played itself ( and I'll include Wall Street) . We know who trump is he's been the same for decades plus he was already president
Imagine being so thick you still support Trump at this point. Or Farage's "America First" Reform scam.
You mean that you've only just cottoned to that?
have said this for a while it is all about market manipulation and either the press are either stupid or complicit
Not even an agreement on a concept of a plan
I would expect Iran's starting point would be regime change in the US.
trump is waiting for instructions from the American plutocrats, "defense" industry executives and his stock and crypto advisors.
Correction Stanage, no one believes Trump other than the media tossers who are buying his lies and forgetting (much like you Niall) to mention to the listeners and viewers that Trump has been documented lying over 50 thousand effing times. The "media" be they Rupert's boys and girls at Times Radio or the BBC is not intrsted in facts and real news, they are hopping to sound oh so controversial, instead…
His Golf Partner " Peacen peace negotiator, is in the 19th hole getting pissed sinnging i give up bring me home mr. President
Played the idiots who believe him. The rest of us with eyes wide open knew it was BS. Also, a deal on a temporary stall, something EVERY PAPER FAILED TO MENTION
There will not be a deal.
Trump just isn't the worst president, he's the worst person the u.s. has ever produced. After hes dead and the Epstein Files come out, you'll see.
I read just 3 pages and couldn't read anymore.
Trump is not stalling. HE IS WAITNG FOR EIDE to finish in Mecca on Saturday ( Today) before starting the war again. Because there is no agreement and no sense that an acceptable agreement will come. So rather than indicate that and loose all surprise he is stalling to respect Saudi Arabia’s wishes. The war will either restart tonight , Sunday night or Monday when all or most Muslims Haj visitors will have left.
All this bullshit is far too ridiculous for anyone who is in such a win win win position as Trump the USA forces together with Netenyahou and the Israeli forces.
Whilst the embargo continues the Regime flounders economically and whilst all hell reigns down to help devastate the Regime and what is left of its military infrastructure and rockets and dual purpose infrastructure as well as the regime itself and its forces no doubt will help the people to rise especially as Israel has been helping them no end organise.
All Trumps list of demands will fully be met or the chances of successfull Regime change will surge no end.
Iran don’t need a deal. Get it!
They.. do.. not.. need.. a.. deal.
Trump knows it.
$1B daily it’s costing American.
massive stock sell off on m0nday
In case you have not caught on yet, he's not playing the media. He's using the media. He's playing the stock market and personally benefiting himself.
He's stalling because he doesn't know what to do next.
It's so funny seeing Trump trolling and dangling the media and woke EU countries on a puppet string
more like – played the stock market…
Whingers with stsge 4 TDS have flooded the media…
The USA and Zionist Israel will never defeat Iran.
Absolutely no nation on earth will come out unscathed.
Trying to destroy Iran can only lead to great woes on earth.
There will not only be economic recession but world wide depression
There is no way that America will win this war as long as they keep negotiating with Iranian terrorists, because they lie
Played the markets more like
In 2 weeks it'll be "deal in 24h" again.
