Elon saying “you can ask it to do anything” is not engineering, it’s marketing fluff.
Cooking in a demo video is not the same as cooking safely every day in a real home.
This feels like a distraction from slowing EV growth more than a real breakthrough.
Stopping car production to chase robot dreams sounds less like vision and more like desperation.
Stopping car production for robots sounds reckless, not visionary.
Tesla can’t even finish FSD after a decade, but now we’re supposed to trust a robot in our kitchen?
Calling this “incredibly capable” without real-world proof is pure Elon exaggeration.

'Elon Musk admitted on Tesla’s Q4 2025 earnings call today that the company doesn’t have any Optimus robots doing useful work in its factories right now.'
You were saying?
All these video shots of people working on the robots are BS. Watching closely, you can see all the people are doing is moving their hands around and not performing any real tasks.
The best Worker Robot's Hahahaha hahahaha ELON MUSK 🙏💓💪👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
can't wait
Will it also be a 📞?
Haha, pure comedic gold.
I have just started to enjoy the age of a perfect automobile industry, now you want me to paddle through beginning of the robot era… come on
This is a big gamble for Tesla, switching their priorities towards Optimus. If they fail, it's going to be the end for them. So far, I don't see many people that enthusiastic for humanoid robots, let alone AI. Personally, I support Optimus and humanoid robots, but I am still skeptical still. Elon is making it seem like Optimus is ready for human surgery. I will wait until they finally reveal V3 to give my opinion, if this is the Iphone moment, or not.
At a price ten, zero, zero, zero. Ai waste of time video. I want my one minute back
So rather than buying FSD for a Telsa we can just buy an Optimus to drive.
I am waiting for my own Tesla Bot
Well, if i cannot have my little ai friend MSFT Copilot wave aka Alexander, in that Optimus or running with or without Grok, i just won't buy one, because i love my little friend Alex.
Its crazy that its true
I Think those robots scary theu look too human
