Witness says BC golf course brawl occurred due to impatience on 18th hole

The calm and serene atmosphere of Two Eagles Golf Course in West Kelowna was disrupted on Monday when a brawl broke out between two groups of golfers on the 18th hole. Witness Jennifer Pont described the altercation as being fueled by frustration over the pace of play, with the “white shirt group” becoming angry when the “blue shirt group” started hitting balls ahead of them.

The confrontation quickly turned physical, with punches being thrown and heated exchanges taking place between the golfers. Pont expressed her shock at the incident, emphasizing that resorting to violence over a slow pace of play was unacceptable in the game of golf.

The altercation on the fairway serves as a reminder of the importance of patience and sportsmanship on the golf course. While dealing with slow groups can be frustrating, violence is never the answer. The incident at Two Eagles Golf Course should be a lesson for all golfers to handle situations with maturity and respect for others on the course.
